2.1. Discuss person centred approach, the history of person centred approach. A long with discussing different approaches to counselling such as CBT, Humanistic and Psychodynamic.

2.1.1. Discuss the history of Carl Rogers and how he developed on the Person centred approach.

3. Current debates within Counselling

3.1. Discuss current debates on Counselling such as BACP and the history of BACP, as well as identifying the Layton Report as well as other reports to do with Counselling.

4. Counselling as a Discipline

4.1. Explain how Psychiatry, mental health and social work etc. relates to Counselling and briefly discuss the history and development within them all.
