1. Equality of opportunities: no one should be denied opportunities because of their race, gender, sexual orientation, age or religion.

2. Equality Act 2010: provides a legal framework to protect the rights of individual and advance equality of opportunities for all. The Act protects the individual from unfair treatment and promotes a fair and more equal society.
