Sam Sheppard Trial by: Desteny Rodriguez

1. Autopsy concluded her death at 4:30 am and was 4 month pregnant male fetus

2. Evidence that supports the defendant guilty: - failed to find break in evidence - drawer pulled out with out being disorganized - large blood stain on left knee - affair with Sue Hayes - fetus appeared to not be sheppard's - 35 blows on Marilyn while Sheppard made his way up the stair

3. Charges: - first degree murder - second degree murder

4. Evidence that supports defendant innocent: - his injuries of that night -was beaten enough to have the neighbor take him to the hospital -

5. Crime according to the prosecution: Sheppard killed his wife by beaten her up to death then ran the beach and jump off the platform to creates injuries. he blamed an unknown intruder.

6. His motives: Sheppard believe that his wife was pregnant by another man.He was also having a affair with a technician ,named Susan Hayes, and he wanted a divorcee.

7. Result: Sheppard was find guilty with second degree murder and was sent life to prison. Later F.Lee Bayou (attorney) took Sheppard case, released Sheppard for second trial with no carmer and few reporters. He was not guilty for the second trial.

11. Defense Side of Story: he was sleeping on the daybed down stairs when his wife called him. He ran upstairs and saw a white figure. After discovering his wife's body, he was hit on the head twice and knocked out by a "blushy-haired" assailant. When he regained his conscious he checked her pulse and determined her dead. later he checked on his son who was fine. while running down stairs he saw the white form again and started to chase him and battle him and lost his t-shirt and his watch somehow.

12. I believe that Sheppard murder his wife in cold blood due to the fact that there no signs of any struggles or forced entry of his house. He was also ask for a divorcee but she refuse.
