1. Vision Statement

1.1. Vision Statement: We envision a world in which all First Nation, Inuit and Métis people have achieved full and equitable access to the conditions of health including: pride in ancestry, cultural reclamation, peace, shelter, education, food, income, a stable environment, resources, and social justice. And Where the gifts and wisdom of First Nation, Inuit and Métis cultures are recognized as valuable, distinctive and beautiful.

2. The Wabano Centre is a non profit organisation that provides supports to it's community members. They welcome every one to take part in their fitness & exercise programs and will not turn away a person in need of support. They are very welcoming, and make you feel like you are part of the family. Having taken classes there myself, I can speak first hand to the hospitality, kindness and caring nature of the centre and it's staff.

3. There are seven colored segments to their logo and each segment represents one of their seven Grandfather teachings: wisdom, truth, honesty, love, respect, humility and courage. These teachings are present in every body at the Centre.

4. "The centre is designed around the aboriginal belief that the mind, body, emotions and spirit must all be cared for."
