1. 3rd President of the United States of America.
2. Jefferson sent Lewis & Clark after he bought the Louisiana Territory for $15 million dollars from France.
3. Married to Martha Wayles Skelton.
3.1. He had six children with her. Only two survided adulthood.
4. Author of the Declaration of Independence.
5. As a candidate of being President he lost by three votes and became Vice President of John Adams. In 1800, the Republicans attempted to name a President and a VP for their own party.
6. Died in July 4, 1826.
7. Birthplace- Shadwell, Colony of Virginia

9. Education- He attended a local school at 1752. He started to study Latin, Greek, and French at age 9. He studied under the minister by James Maury in 1758 to 1760. While bording with Maury's, family he studied history, science, and classics. He then entered the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg at 16. He also improved in his languages and violin.

11. He died in July 4, 1826. The 50th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence and a few hours before John Adams death. He most likely died of uremia.
