Daryel's Goals by Mind Map: Daryel's Goals

1. Personal Goals

1.1. Buy a house once my wife and either retire, or get to a place where we want to settle down at. Long term goal of ours.

1.2. Continue to save money. Increase our annual savings from $3,000 per year to $5,000 per year. We will start this at the beginning of next year. This is a short term goal.

1.3. Take my wife on a vacation to the Bahamas once I go get a passport. Hopefully we can get this accomplished within the next year or two. She really deserves it. Short term goal of mines.

1.4. My favorite personal goal is try and win the jackpot of the Mega Millions or Powerball lottery. Is it achievable? Yes. Will I ever win it? Probably not. As long as I have a chance, I will continue to run my same numbers until they come up. Rather that is now or 40 years from now.

2. Course Goals

2.1. Get a better understanding of the interdisciplinary study.

2.2. Like everybody else in the class, be able to pass this class at the end of the eight weeks. Short term goal.

3. Professional

3.1. Get Commissioned within the Air Force in the next 2 years. Short term goal

3.2. If I do not get commissioned, study hard to make MSgt, and continue to go from there. Hoping that the end goal is CMSgt and retiring after 20 years of service. Long Term Goal

3.3. Help my wife make E6 this year, while also staying on her to continue school. Therefore she can continue to grow and develop with me. This is definitely an achievable goal. Sort term goal, as she will be testing for E6 in March, we have to put in overtime to get her ready for the test.

4. Academic Goals

4.1. Finish up my Bachelor's degree, take a 6 month break and get started on Master's degree. Short term goal

4.2. Apply to the Air Force Institution of Technology, and complete my Master's degree that way. It is an eighteen to twenty-four months school. It will give me a Master's degree. The goal is achievable, as long as I start the paperwork right now for it, so that I can have a head start on it for next year's cutoff date. This can be a short to mid term goal depending on the outcome of if I get selected for OTS or not.
