1. Past Continuous

1.1. The past continuous puts emphasis on the course of an action in the past.

2. Present Perfect Simple

2.1. The present perfect simple expresses an action that is still going on or that stopped recently, but has an influence on the present.

3. Present Perfect Continuous

3.1. The present perfect progressive expresses an action that recently stopped or is still going on.

3.1.1. Examples *He has played *He hasn't play *Has he play?

4. Past Perfect

4.1. The past perfect simple expresses an action taking place before a certain time in the past.

4.1.1. Examples *The band had stopped playing *He hadn't had enough time *Had you ever been here before

5. Simple Past

5.1. The simple present expresses an action in the present taking place regularly, never or several times.

5.1.1. Example *I live in Poland *They swim every day *They like pizza *The sunday comes aftersaturday

6. Present Continous

6.1. is used for actions going on in the moment of speaking and for actions taking place only for a short period of time.

7.1. The simple past expresses an action in the past taking place once, never, several times.

8. Past Perfect Continuous
