1. 2. Trampolines are a great way of exercise and good for your heart. Evidence: “According to a NASA study, jumping on a trampoline for 10 minutes is equivalent to a 30-minute run, giving you the same benefits in a third of the time.” ( See Women's Weekly article) “You get a heart pumping aerobic workout, like you do when you are running or dancing. And young people need the exercise the can get,” (O'Neil 20-21).

2. 3. It is a fun way to play outside, and trampolines encourage outdoor activity. Evidence: "Sometimes playing outside is kind of boring. With a trampoline it can be very fun! The reality is we live in a digitally saturated world. We all spend hours watching TV, playing games on a tablet, sitting in front of a computer, or on our mobile phones. And studies show that kids are spending 60 hours per week consuming media and less than 60 minutes playing outside. With trampolines we want to shift the time they spend on devices into active, outdoor play time. It’s not about adding more screen time to their lives. It’s about transforming the screen time they are already spending into something positive,"("Spring Free Safe Trampolines"). - See more at: "http://www.springfreetrampoline.com/2016/05/11/5

3. 1. Trampolines are good for relieving stress and boosting your mood. Evidence: “Exercise, such as trampolining, will release endorphin's, the feel-good brain chemicals. These can help to reduce stress and ease anxiety and depression. It’s fun and can leave you feeling invigorated” (Morgan Johnston).

4. Counter Argument: ( What Hattie will say) Trampolines are too dangerous and it is too easy to get hurt on them. ( What I will say to change their minds): Yes trampolines can be very dangerous if you use them incorrectly, but there is some ways you can prevent getting hurt. You can buy a trampoline with a net so people can’t fall off of it. There are also many safety rules that the trampoline manuel came with. Some rules are that: "Children age 5 and under should not be permitted on a trampoline, provide adult supervision at all times when ever someone is jumping, never allow more than 1 person to jump at a time unless they are very careful, and never let anyone tackle anyone on jump on people," (Nationwide trampoline safety). https://www.nationwide.com/trampoline-safety.jsp
