Piecewise and Quadratic Functions

1. A quadratic function is where a,b,and c are numbers with a not equal to zero.
2. The form for quadratic functions is f(x)=ax2 + bx + c
3. The graph of a quadratic function is a curve called a parabola. A parabola is the locus of points such that the distance to the focus equals the distance to the directrix.
4. A piecewise function is a function which is defined by multiple sub-functions.
5. A piecewise function can be continuous. What i mean by that is an interval can be broken into a finite number
