1.1. This website helps with struggling readers. There are reading courses that teachers can look at to better support a student who is struggling in reading. I would like to use this to help my students become better readers, this is a great tool for students who may not feel comfortable reading.

2. Literacy Kickoff

2.1. Explains how important families are in the students education and how you can include families in everything you do. This is very important in every classroom and I will utilize the tips they share in my own classroom.

3.1. This website is for teachers that teach language arts or anyone who deals with this subject. There are lots of worksheets teachers can print out. I would like to use this resource for worksheets in my own classroom.

4. LDonline

4.1. reading interventions for students with learning disabilities. Technology tips to support studying skills and many other tips for teachers and students. I would like to use this resource when making home-to-school connections.

5. Boggles Worlde

5.1. There are printable worksheets, flashcards, etc. for ESL students. I would like to use the flashcards on this site. They seem to be helpful and they interact the student more than a worksheet would.

6. High Noon Books

6.1. They have book series that you can go over with your students. There are also games and reading workbooks on this website. The games will keep the students interacted in the lesson. If you use a workbook then the student will learn to be responsible with keeping up with his or her workbook.

7. Reading & Writing Project

7.1. They offer services for students struggling in reading and writing. This is a good tool to use for different techniques on how to teach students who may be struggling with reading and/or writing.

8. Colorin Colorado

8.1. Creating a welcoming classroom will help students feel more comfortable. In this website it shows different ways for teachers to create a welcoming classroom. It also goes over ways to make an ELL students feel comfortable. It is important to me to have a welcoming classroom, and to accept all students and make them feel comfortable. I will be sure to use the tips and techniques used in this classroom to better my classroom one day.

9.1. There is a google drive with links to rubrics for different content areas. I would like to use some information from the rubrics when I have my own classroom.
