1.1. Having to sit up straight at all times
1.2. Sitting with your legs together and not sprawling on the couch
1.3. My male friends weren't allowed to cry without being ridiculed
1.4. Female students couldn't leave class for the bathroom regardless of female issues
1.5. It wasn't ladylike to wear shorts underneath our school dresess
