When a teacher reads aoud the content text does it help wth student comprehension?

2.1. Special education accommodations on state standardized testing may include reading aloud the text to a student
2.2. Not every student who has the read loud accommodation wants to be read to
2.3. The read aloud accommodation does not help all students to comprehend, it depends on the inidividual's disablity
