what is technology?

1. My personal opinion about technology before taking this course....

1.1. Actually before taking this course, I am not thinking very deeply about technology . I just thought that any electronic gadgets which we can use in our daily life or which make us life easier is technology. For example- laptops, washing machines, mobile phones, alarm clock and any other electronic device. Moreover, I thought that every electronic gadgets are technology.

2. “The first and most basic one is a technology is a means to fulfill a human purpose. … As a means, a technology may be a method or process or device… Or it may be complicated… Or it may be material… Or it may be nonmaterial. Whichever it is, it is always a means to carry out a human purpose.”(W. Brian,2009)

3.1. This discussion is very creative for me because it is my first time to do a discussion in mindmeister. I choose mindmeister to create this discussion because It is different and creative for me.

5. This video is very helpful to knowing deeply about technology. it defines clearly what technology is and also provide information about starting year of technology and it gives different definition of technology by different authors.(Kevin Kelly tells technology's epic story )

6. My thinking about the technology after reading this course contents is......

6.1. After reading the course content and after watching the videos my thinking about technology has totally changed and I learned that technology is not just a electronic gadgets it is much more from our imagination. Moreover, "Technology is a group of learning given to making devices, handling activities and separating of materials. The term 'technology" is wide and everybody has their own particular manner of understanding the importance of innovation."(karehka ramey,2013)
