How did you attract/address your audience?

1. My front cover was based at a target audience of Trendies and Rahs. Because of this i looked at other magazines which are popular with these social groups, such as Vibe, Blender and Billboard.

2. Also, by looking at the poses which the models were doing for Blender i came up with my own. This issue with Taylor swift was a big influence as she is stood in a seductive way, using her body language to send a powerful message to the audience.

Looking at Blender influenced my front cover decisions the most, this is because of the colours they choose to use are always on trend, in response to this i researched fashion around the time of making my magazine and red and blue were fashionable, i also thought black was quite on trend therefore used red, blue and black as my 3 colour pallet.

6. The poses which i have my models doing convey confidence, which is what my audience will want to have as individuals. I have made them pose as if they are enjoying themselves, or enjoying the music which they are listening to, which is important as they are modelling for a music magazine and the audience have to be intrigued.

7. I have tried to use the idea of having columns within my contents page, i thought that this made the magazine look professional and is also easy to read for the audience. I have also used the idea of having 3 little images along the top of my contents page and one main image which is clearly influenced by Billboard magazine.
