Course Goals

1. Multimodal - Critique and analyze oral presentations including the visuals and handout materials
1.1. MY goal: Learn how to use multimodal to be able to critique my coworker's presentation.
2. Ethics - Attend to ethical responsibilities required by professional environments.
2.1. My goal: Continue to uphold the conduct of ethics at work and learn how to improve on it.
3. Rhetoric - Be able to identify when to use elements of rhetorical situations in business writing.
3.1. My goal: To be able to use elements of rhetorical situations when writing presentations or procedures for work
4. Process - Use a variety of technology to implement flexible strategies.
4.1. My goal: Be able to use the technology available to at work for drafting and reviewing business writing
5. Genre - Identify how to use genre for structure, paragraphing, tone, mechanics, etc., and use it for reports, presentations, etc.
5.1. My goal: Use genre in future Travel Policy presentations and memos
