1. the 5 students who answered most, including the most difficult, of the pre-assessment questions correctly
1.1. Assessment: Begin simple sentence studies.
1.2. It's likely these student are above pre-reading into reading. You might want to evaluate their ability to read sentences and BOB books.
2. the 12 students who have some knowledge about the topic as shown in their score, but need to develop higher order thinking skills
2.1. Tweak curricula based around where the majority of the class showed weakness.While reviewing area where many students showed confidence.
2.2. Assessment: Word Study exit tickets
3. the 5 students who appear to have limited knowledge about the topic
3.1. Vowel and Consent sound evaluation
3.2. Find out what knowledge. if any these students do have. From here a teacher would need to evaluate their letter sense.
