3.1. Teacher: encourage mixed groupings of student needs (ex. Jo Boaler Railside School), Freedom within limits (allow students to have choice in their learning), avoid unambiguous teaching, recognizing proximal zones of development.

3.2. Student: has a variety of opportunities to showcase their knowledge (varied assessment), is provided with areas for improvement/next steps, student feels comfortable in the learning environment and with peers, needs of the adolescent learner are met through effective questioning, physical literacy/movement, the development of transferrable life skills/problem solving
