1. Services, Programs & Resources for Peel students & families

1.1. RESOURCE CENTRE: Their Resource Counselor advocates for their clients by providing information on: Individual Education Plans (IEPs), Psycho-Educational Assessments, and the rights of the students within the Peel District School Board and the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board.

1.1.1. The Resource Counselor will also provide support and resources of other agencies, federal programs, financial programs, employment, and much more!

1.2. WORKSHOPS: The Learning Disabilities Association of Peel Region is pleased to offer a number of different programs for winter 2017! Their programs are inclusive to all.

1.2.1. Some programs include (but are not limited to) Social Skills, S.T.A.T.A. (Stop, Talk, Ask, Team Up & Agree), Plan Ahead: Post-Secondary & Employment Preparation, Computer Skills, Y.E.S (Youth Empowerment Support), Science and Technology Program NEW!, Academic Support (tutoring), Assistive Technology

2. Equity, Inclusion & Cultural Awareness

2.1. Learning Disabilities are present across all cultural backgrounds, LDAPR supports all children, youth, and adults and provides them with leadership opportunities in learning disabilities advocacy, research, and education.

3.1. LDAPR is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children, youth and adults with learning disabilities.

3.1.1. They are passionate about helping people with learning disabilities and their families achieve their greatest potential.

4. How are services/programs accessed?

4.1. Workshops are FREE! You simply need to show up at the designated date, time, and location.

4.2. Programs range from $125-$165. They tend to have an 8-week duration, with 1 hour classes per week.
