4.1.1. This set of skills is fast becoming inherent and indispensable for us

4.1.2. this is true regardless of what age (Bronze, Stone, modern times etc.) we live in as we always need to have communication among our people.

4.1.3. Especially so in our information age, where we are bamboozled with countless information from everywhere. Social media, Internet, Traditional Print, News reports.

4.1.3.1. we need to learn how to sieve through by ourselves what is real news and what is half-truths/propaganda.

4.1.4. To be considered as a Critical Thinking person involves being able to read, analyze, as well as create "texts"

4.2. The ability to understand and create different types of messages through different modes, such as pictures or words, among other examples.

4.2.1. encompasses the ability to read more than just one form/type of "text" at the same time.

4.2.2. Can be seen as the "key" to our knowledge that we have built up over the years.
