Define the problem:You have been served food you do not particularly like, but it will be the only meal until breakfast.
by Siri Albert-Lindqvist
1. Explore the alternatives: I could not eat it, I could complain to a teacher, or I could just eat it.
2. Consider the consequences: - eat it without complaint: you won't be hungry/it won't be appetizing. - don't eat it: you will be hungry/you won't have to eat something you don't like. - complain about not liking the food: it'll be disrespectful/you might get something else
3. Identify your values: If you complain about not liking the food, then you will seem like an ungrateful person
4. Decide and act: I would decide to eat it.
5. Evaluate the result: I made the right decision because I didn't get hungry and I wouldn't have been disrespectful or ungrateful.
