D.E.C.I.D.E (Prompt 5) by Mind Map: D.E.C.I.D.E (Prompt 5)

1. C. If I sneak out to the party, it is risky and I will probably get grounded by my parents. I might have fun with my friends, but is it worth it? If I ask them to go to the party, they could bust the person who is throwing the party or they will just say yes. If I explain how my parents will ground me to my friend, he might not understand and I will be bored at home for the rest of the night.

2. D. The decision I am facing is that a friend is asking me ti sneak out to a party. But, the problem is I will get in trouble with my parents. I know that it is risky and things could happen that could put me in danger.

3. E. An alternative to this problem is I could ask my parents if I could go to the party. This means I could go to the party without having to sneak out and get in trouble. Or I could explain that my parents won't let me to my friend and that they will punish me if I go.

4. I. Will there be any dangerous things like alcohol or drugs at the party? If there is, my friends and my safety could be in danger. Also, my parents tell me that I can drink when I am the legal age in the country I am in. I am still considered a minor. If I go, I could be peer pressured into drinking alcohol but if I don't, I could miss out and have my friends think I am not cool.

5. D. I will decide to ask my parents if I can go to the party until my curfew. This will allow me to go to the party and not miss out. Although there may be alcohol or other things at the party, I will not partake in those activities because it is illegal and dangerous. I will go home at curfew with no consequences and no reputation lost.

6. E. I ended up not missing out on anything and not getting in any trouble. This affects my life because I will be able to earn trust from my parents so I can go to more parties responsibly in the future. It won't affect others because they have their own problems. I have learned I make decisions based on virtue ethics.
