4. Formative

4.1. Definition: Procedures conducted by teachers during the learning process in order to modify teaching and learning activities to improve student attainment.

5.1. Definition: Requires students to perform a task rather than select an answer for a ready-made list.

7.4. Strategies: Instead of straight lecturing, I am introducing the students to argument worksheets where they have to summarize main ideas and use evidence to support their claims.

7.5. Strategy 2: We will introduce packets to the class with the information they need to know, and then have them highlight the main idea of each paragraph.
