1. The Global Theater

1.3. The globe theater burned down somewhere around 1613 by a cannon which fired during a performance. The current one that exists is a replica to the original.

2. Witchcraft

2.1. suspected witches would be burned down

2.2. This led to a period of witch hunting where people were tried and often executed for being accused of being a "witch"

2.3. People believed that the witches were being controlled by the devils.

2.4. People acting in odd ways were likely accused of being a witch.

2.5. Some people believed that witches were being controlled by the devils

2.6. The link of witchcraft to Macbeth is informed by Three Witches that he is to become king.

3. The Gunpowder plot

3.1. The Gunpowder plot related to Macbeth because Guy Fawkes and Macbeth both tried to kill their leaders

3.2. It was all planned by the Catholic conspirators

3.3. The gunpowder was put in the House of Lords, in which the king and other high officials were having a meeting at that time

3.4. Guy Fawkes, was in charge of igniting the gunpowder

3.5. The plot was uncovered 12 hours before the attack was planned

3.6. They did all of this to assassinate the king James. He was ruling over England and Scotland at that time.

3.7. Every November 5th, there is a celebration to celebrate the failure of Guy Fawkes blowing up the
