1. Analyze

1.1. At this initial stage, all variables for the project are considered. This may include identifying: - instructional problem - establishing goals and objectives - identifying existing skills

1.1.1. 1. Identify learners/audience

1.1.2. 2. Identify learning challenge

1.1.3. 3. Identify objectives/tasks that should be/need to be completed

2. Design

2.1. This stage considers learning objectives, possible assessments, media selection, and lesson plans. At this point, you may also answer questions about: - Cost and effort - Mode of delivery - Training on content and technology - Program sequence

2.1.1. 1. Outline learning activities based on identified objectives

2.1.2. 2. Describe learning assessments

2.1.3. 3. Write scripts for media

3. Develop

3.1. This stage is the time when content starts to be developed. All materials considered in the Analysis and Design stages are created and assembled here. Review and feedback on content also takes place.

3.1.1. 1. Evaluate media scripts to determine mode of delivery

3.1.2. 2. Identify resources needed to accompany learning activities

3.1.3. 3. Create rubrics to go with assessments

4. Implement

4.1. This is the process of putting the content into a real world context. It will include developing training for content and technology.

4.1.1. 1. Complete Quality Assurance (QA) by reviewing all media and content before it is published to learners

4.1.2. 2. Support instructor in reviewing content before teaching

4.1.3. 3. Train users on any included/new technology

5. Evaluate

5.1. Formative evaluation takes place at every stage, but at the final stage, summative evaluation will take place. The design will be tested and user feedback will be considered.

5.1.1. 1. Gather feedback based on QA process

5.1.2. 2. Collect user data before, during, and after learning process
