2. Read Academic Articles(Klein's basic steps):
2.1. Read the abstract (if provided)
2.2. Read the conclusion
2.3. Skim the middle, looking at section titles, tables, figures, etc.—try to get a feel for the style and flow of the article
2.4. Once you’ve grasped the basic argument the author is trying to make, critique it
2.5. Compare the article to others you’ve read on the same or a closely related subject.
3. Understanding Academic Integrity
3.1. Plagiarism: taking someone else's work or ideas and using them as your own
3.2. Caught Plagiarism: Can lead to a failing grade in class or worse, getting kicked out of the university
3.3. Guilty of plagiarism: Any time you use the information and don't cite it; reusing paper you have written for several different classes
