Two founders, a framework, and a recording device
In 2006, Meister had just been founded. MindMeister didn’t exist yet: Michael and Till were building their first product on Ruby on Rails, which was barely two years old at the time. When its creator, David Heinemeier Hansson, came to London for the first RailsConf Europe, they took the chance to sit down with him for a 43-minute conversation. Our products still run on Ruby on Rails today.
